Albany Utility Board OKs Broadband Fees, Well Rehab

The Albany Utility Board voted at its meeting Thursday to recommend that the Albany City Commission approve funding for a pair of items.

The Utility Board OK’d a request for $52,037.45 for service fees associated with bandwidth sales and $53,120 for the rehabilitation of well No. 39 at Kensington Court, part of the in-progress construction of an elevated water tank that will improve water pressure in the northwest portion of the city.
