Tricks and Treats at FRQ and Thronateeska Oct. 30th

Staff Report From Albany CEO

Thursday, October 29th, 2015

Bring your little ghosts and goblins downtown for lots of spooky fun Friday, October 30, from 5-7 pm as the Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska Heritage Center team up to present Tricks and Treats. You’ll get twice the fun at just one price because an armband purchase at either location grants you entrance to all of the festivities, as well as a candy path of treat tables along the riverfront trail. Admission for all ages is $6 with costume or $8 without costume.

A highlight this year will be the Spooky Scavenger Hunt held at both facilities. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win a prize, including a $50 gift card to Lake Blackshear.

A spooky dive show will be held at the Flint RiverQuarium, along with games and candy stations throughout and animal presentations.

At Thronateeska, visitors can enjoy games and activities, candy stations, a haunted planetarium, and a costume contest for ages 6 and under hosted by the Jr. Women’s Club.

A candy path along Riverfront Trail will connect the two facilities.
