Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County Approves Bond Resolution

While approving a resolution to re-market bond issues from 2008 and 2010, attention was also paid by the Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County Thursday to the continued impact of the Affordable Care Act as it relates to Georgia’s refusal to expand Medicaid.

The bonds, which had been through JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, are expected to be lowered by 20-30 basis points. They will now be split among Regions, SunTrust and Bank of America — three of the nine banks Phoebe Putney Health System reached out to in recent weeks.
