Deadline Approaches for GDEcD Globe Award Applications

With an estimated 92 percent of all Georgia counties engaged in international trade, the ability to easily and effectively reach new international markets remains critical to economic development in the state.

For any company, small or large, tapping into a new international market can be challenging.

The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) believes companies who achieve this should be recognized not just for their hard work, but also for their contribution to maintaining the state as a competitive source for quality products and services.

For the second year in a row, GDEcD will be presenting the GLOBE (Georgia Launching Opportunities By Exporting) Award to a select group of Georgia-based companies who have entered into one or more new international markets in 2014. See last year’s Globe Award winners.

January 31, 2015 is the deadline to submit your company for consideration.

Recipients of the GLOBE Award will be recognized and presented with a certificate during the Go Global Reception on March 2, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.

Get recognized for your success! Apply at Georgia.org/ApplyGLOBE.
