Brandi Lunneborg is New Phoebe Sumter Chief

Phoebe Putney Health System announced Wednesday, that Brandi Lunneborg will lead Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Lunneborg will join Phoebe Sumter on November 17, 2014. Lunneborg came to Americus after serving as vice president of operations for Mercy Hospital, in Coon Rapids, Minn.

During her tenure, the hospital received designation as a Truven Top 100 Hospital (third award) and US News & World Report “Best Hospitals” for 2013-2014, and is a 2013 Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award Winner. 

Lunneborg received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology at Carleton College in Northfield Minn. and her Master's of Business Administration degree at American InterContinental University in Hoffman Estates, Ill. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mrs. Lunneborg and her husband, Todd, bring with them their children Ian and Ara, both age eight. Her husband, Todd, is a guitarmaker, music educator and journalist who for the past 16 years owned his own business.
