Darton State College has placed sixth among mid-sized colleges in the Center for Digital Education’s annual Digital Community Colleges Survey.

Colleges across the country participated in the survey, which recognizes institutions for their innovative uses of technology to achieve first-rate student learning environments. Survey questions were based on areas of digital and emerging technologies, such as use of mobile devices and technology integration into curriculum; strategic planning and data management; and professional development, including availability of technology tools and training for faculty and students.  Winners are grouped into three categories: Large (10,000 students or more), Mid-sized (5,000 – 10,000 students), and Small (5,000 students or less). Darton is the only college in Georgia – in all three categories – to receive this recognition.
