Chehaw Sip & Safari Cancelled

For the second year in a row, inclement weather has negatively impacted Chehaw’s biggest annual fundraiser.
After nearly three days of heavy rain, park officials have announced they are cancelling Friday night’s planned Sip & Safari fundraiser, according to a news release issued late Wednesday afternoon.
Organizers feel the ground where the outdoor event was to be held will still be too wet to host the fundraiser, so the decision was made to cancel it outright rather than reschedule for a different date.
