Craig R. Buckley, Georgia Board of Architects and Interior Designers (reappointment)
Buckley is president and principal owner of James W. Buckley and Associates, Inc., a Swainsboro-based architectural firm that was started by his father more than 50 years ago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has owned his business and served as president since his father’s retirement in 1997. Buckley and his wife, Lenora, have two children. They reside in Bellville.

Cindy Trimble, Georgia Board of Architects and Interior Designers (reappointment)
Trimble has been a certified interior designer for more than 30 years in Georgia. A graduate of Emory University and Rhode Island School of Design, she is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, served as president for the Georgia Alliance for Interior Design Professionals in addition to serving on many professional, civic and governmental boards throughout her career. She owns and manages three companies: Trimble Kelly Studios (Interior Design Services), Design ReFind (Consignment Store for the Home) and RusticGoneWild.com (e-commerce boutique). Trimble has one child. She resides in Blue Ridge.

Howard R. Sills, County and Municipal Probation Advisory Council
Sills is currently serving his fifth term as sheriff of Putnam County. He previously served as vice president of Security for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta. He is the longtime chair of the Georgia Sheriff’s Legislative Committee and is immediate past president of the Georgia Sheriff’s Association. He was awarded Georgia “Sheriff of the Year” in 2008 and 2013. Sills earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Mercer University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the National Sheriffs Institute. He and his wife, Janet, have one child. They reside in Eatonton.

Rocio D. Woody, Board of Corrections
Woody is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice. She serves on the board of directors of the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association and the executive board of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials. She has served on the board of the National Association of Social Workers, Georgia Chapter and currently serves on the Georgia Supreme Court Unlicensed Practice of Law Standing Committee. Woody earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Frank, have one child and one grandchild. They reside in Dunwoody.

Richard W. Harrell, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Harrell is the chief financial officer for U.S. Enterprises, Inc. (USE), a holding company located in Atlanta. Prior to joining USE, he was senior vice president with First American Bank. He has been active in the Atlanta community, serving on numerous boards including: Georgia Public Telecommunications Commission, Urban Residential Financial Authority, Atlanta Development Authority, Oglethorpe University Board of Visitors, Urban Residential Authority, board of directors of Mercy Housing Southeast and board of directors of the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award Foundation. Harrell earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Georgia and a degree in Commercial Banking from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He resides in Atlanta.

William S. Jackson, Jr., Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Jackson is a partner in Tile Center Inc., a tile and stone distribution company located in Augusta, Martinez, Statesboro and Greensboro. He serves on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board for the Augusta Region, is chairman of the Greenbrier High School Athletic Foundation, and is board chairman of Liberty Retreat and Conference Center in Gleason, Tenn. Jackson is director of the nonprofit Georgia Sting AAU organization for girls basketball. He graduated from Young Harris College. He and his wife, Robin, have two children. They reside in Evans.

Dewey Robinson, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Robinson is the owner and operator of Robinson Motors in Bainbridge. He is the owner of River Plaza Shopping Center, People’s Loan Service, Inc., and the co-owner of Decatur Broadcasting. He is on the board of directors of First National Bank of Decatur County, serves as board chairman of Bainbridge Salvation Army and is the scholarship chairman for the executive committee of the Bainbridge College Foundation. Robinson and his wife, Kathy, are active members of First Baptist Church where he is a deacon. They reside in Bainbridge.

Gary H. Paulk, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Paulk is a fifth generation farmer from Irwin County. He is part owner of Muscadine Products Corp., a muscadine juice and health foods production company. He is chairman of the board of directors of the Ameris Bank Board and South Central Primary Care, vice chairman of the Irwin County Board of Education, and president of the Irwin County Farm Bureau. Paulk graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. He and his wife, Ann, have four children and four grandchildren. They reside in Wray.

Matthew R. Cardella, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Cardella is a financial adviser with Edward Jones Investments in Hinesville. He serves on the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, the Liberty County Public Facilities Authority, and the Gateway Behavioral Health Services Board. Cardella earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Valdosta State University. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children. They reside in Sunbury.

Ed Jordan, Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Jordan is the owner of a plant nursery located on the 100-year-old family farm. He served as chairman for the Hospital Authority when living in McDuffie County, as president of the Wrightsboro Historical Foundation in Thomson, and most recently as president of the Washington County Historical Society. He also served as a division manager and director of the Georgia Mining Association and US Clay Producers, and received a patent. Jordan worked in the clay industry for more than 30 years after he earned a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Dianne, have three children and two grandchildren. They reside in Warthen.

Dwayne Turner, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Turner owns and operates ADT Development Co. Inc, a property development company located in Cleveland. He serves on the 9th District Economic Advisory Council and represents the 9th District for the Georgia Republican Party State Committee. Turner has been in the construction industry since 1989 and has been self-employed with various small businesses and companies since 1982. He and his wife, Connie, have three children and nine grandchildren. They reside in Cleveland.

Bebe A. Heiskell, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Heiskell is the sole commissioner of Walker County. She is a certified county clerk, holds an advanced county commissioner certification and has had more than 300 hours of continuing education at the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government. Heiskell serves on the Board of Community Affairs, as chair of the Walker County Water & Sewerage Authority, and on the board of directors of the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission. She was recognized as Professional Woman of the Year by LaFayette Business and Professional Women in 1994 and named Walker County Citizen of the Year in 2008. Heiskell survives her husband, Arthur, and has two children and one grandchild. She resides in Chickamauga.

Nancy S. Jones, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Jones serves as chairperson of the Meriwether County Board of Commissioners. She ended a 34-year career with the Georgia Department of Transportation as the local government Right of Way Coordinator. She is a member of the Meriwether County Industrial Development Authority and the Joint Development Authority of Meriwether County and the city of Hogansville. Jones attended West Georgia College. She and her husband, Gary, have two children and three grandchildren. They reside in Woodbury.

Pat Graham, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Graham is chairman of the Barrow County Commission. She is a member of the board of directors of the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce and the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission. Graham has served on the Upper Oconee Water Planning Council and the Commission for a New Georgia Service Delivery Task Force. Also, she served as the mayor of Braselton from 2002 to 2009. She is a retired industrial manager formerly with Frito-Lay, Inc. She and her husband, Earl, have four children. They reside in Braselton.

Charles M. “Buddy” Leger, Georgia Rural Development Council (reappointment)
Leger has been in the business of growing, harvesting and marketing watermelons and pecans since 1962. He currently serves as vice president and consultant to Leger & Son, Inc. He has served on numerous boards and was inducted into the Agricultural Hall of Fame last year. He and his wife, Marjorie, have five children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. They reside in Cordele.

Cecil A. Bonner, Consumer Advisory Board (reappointment)
Bonner retired as State Manager for St. Paul Insurance Co. He serves on the City of Canton Main Street Board, Planning and Zoning Board and the Canton Building Authority. Bonner earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Karen have one child. They reside in Canton.

P. Mitchell Everett, Consumer Advisory Board (reappointment)
Everett is senior vice president and regulatory compliance manager for Atlantic Capital Bank in Buckhead. Everett earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Marketing and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Valdosta State University. McCurry is vice-chairman of Seacrest Partners, an independent insurance brokerage firm based in Savannah. Beckey E. Malphus , State Board of Veterinary Medicine (reappointment)
Malphus is co-owner of Clanton Malphus Hodges Veterinary Hospital. She serves on the Georgia Veterinary Board and was chairperson in 2008. She is a member of the board of directors and is president-elect for the American Association of Veterinary State Boards. She also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Thomas County Thomasville Humane Society and the Tallahassee Hunting Retriever Club. She was the 2010 Georgia Veterinary Medical Association’s Veterinarian of the Year. Malphus earned bachelor’s degrees from South Georgia College and the University of Florida and a doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. She resides in Thomasville.

Edsel Dennis Davis, State Board of Veterinary Medicine (reappointment)
Davis practices small animal medicine at Northside-Wesleyan Animal Hospital in Macon. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, Macon Rotary Club, Mercer Executive Forum, Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and Idle Hour Club. Davis received an associate’s degree from South Georgia College in Douglas, a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia and a doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. Logan Nalley, Jr., Georgia Board of Dentistry (reappointment)
Nalley has been in the private practice of Prosthodontics since 1980. He is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He served on active duty in the U.S. Navy Reserve and retired from the U.S. Army Reserve. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics, fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, American College of Dentists, and an honorable fellow of the Georgia Dental Association. Nalley earned a bachelor’s degree from North Georgia College and a dental degree and certificate in Prosthodontics from the Medical College of Georgia. Tim Connell, Private Colleges and Universities Authority
Connell has a broad range of experience in state government with an emphasis on financial management. He currently serves as the chief financial officer for the Department of Community Health. His past service includes state budget director, deputy chief operating officer for former Gov. Sonny Perdue and president of the Georgia Student Finance Commission. Connell earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University. He and his wife, Carol, have two children and two grandchildren. They reside in Norcross.

George G. Andrews, Private Colleges and Universities (reappointment)
Andrews has been the chief executive officer and president of Capitol City Bank & Trust Company since 1994. He is a member of the Independent Bankers Association of America where he was formerly secretary and on the executive committee. He is also a member of the Member Regulation Committee, Member Federal Home Loan Bank Committee and chairman of the Interdenominational Theology Center Associates. He is the former treasurer of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. Additionally, he is a member of the Community Bankers Association and the former co-chairman of the Atlanta Work Force Development Agency. Andrews earned a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College. Matt Arthur, Southern Regional Education Board (reappointment)
Arthur has worked in education for 30 years, serving as the superintendent of the Rabun County School System for the past 12 years. He currently serves as president-elect for the Georgia School Superintendents Association and as a trustee on the Georgia Education Workman Compensation Trust. Additionally, he serves on the Rabun County Board of Health. Previously, he was appointed to former Gov. Sonny Perdue’s Working Group on Abuse in the Educational Setting and Gov. Deal’s Advisory Council. He attended the University of Georgia where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Education and later completed a master’s and specialist degree in Leadership. He and his wife, Margie, have two children. They reside in Lakemont.

Stephen S. Goss, Joint Study Committee on Mental Health Access
Goss has served as judge of Dougherty Superior Court since 1999. He is a past president of the Council of Superior Court Judges of Georgia. In 2002, he founded and continues to preside over the Dougherty Superior Court MH/SA treatment program, the first felony mental health court in Georgia. He teaches court personnel on mental health court programs in numerous states and serves on the faculty of the National Judicial College and National Drug Court Institute. He is a board member of the Council of State Governments Judges Leadership Initiative, dealing with mental health issues in the courts and serves as a senior consultant to the United States Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration GAINS Center on co-occurring disorders. He and his wife, Dee, have three children. They reside in Albany.

Jason M. Bearden, Joint Study Committee on Mental Health Access
Bearden is the chief executive officer of Highland Rivers Health. Previously, he was the chief operating officer of Viewpoint Health in Gwinnett County, director of the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget Health Services Division and worked at the Department of Community Health in the Planning and Fiscal Analysis Office. Bearden is a member of the executive board for the Georgia Association for Primary Health Care, the Georgia Supportive Housing Association, Select Systems LLC and the Canton Elementary School Board. He received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Business and Health Administration from Georgia State University. Bearden and his wife, Deana, have three children. They reside in Canton.

Terri D. McFadden-Garden, Georgia Board for Physician Workforce
Mcfadden-Garden is a general pediatrician and an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics of the Emory University School of Medicine. She serves as medical director of Primary Care at the Hughes Spalding Campus of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where she sees patients and teaches medical students, pediatric residents and allied health students. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics where she serves on the Committee on Early Childhood. McFadden-Garden is the medical director of the Injury Free Coalition for Kids-Atlanta, a childhood injury prevention program. She also serves as medical director of the Georgia Coalition of Reach Out and Read. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and a medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She and her husband, Everett, have two children. They reside in Atlanta.
