Annette Bowling Given Lifetime Achievement Award from LPCA

Ms. Annette Bowling, Executive Director of the Albany Advocacy Resource Center, received the LPCA Lifetime Achievement Award at the LPCA Annual Convention and Regional Conference recently held in Savannah, GA, June 13-16, 2013.

The prestigious LPCA Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Ms. Bowling for her outstanding work in advocating for the counseling profession, and for her continued advocacy at the state, regional, or national levels which has contributed significantly to the health and well-being of our citizens and the advancement of the Counseling Profession.

Ms. Bowling has demonstrated exceptional professional qualities that make her stand out beyond the expectations of her job, community, and volunteer work. She has consistently demonstrated dynamic leadership in building relationships with legislators, directly or indirectly affecting law and public policy, presenting our organization and mission to key media outlets and legislators, and developing strong grassroots initiatives within the organization and the public.
