Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has added Sunwing Airlines to its list of passenger airlines. Sunwing Airlines flights, sold exclusively by Vacation Express, will offer nonstop service to Cancun, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, beginning today.

“We are happy to give our customers the additional choices that Sunwing Airlines will offer,” Aviation General Manager Louis Miller said.

Sunwing Airlines will operate service to Cancun on Fridays and Mondays and to Punta Cana on Saturdays.

“We are happy to serve Atlanta with two great destinations,” said Michele Olson, director of product development and marketing at Sunwing Airlines. “Passengers will enjoy ‘high-frills,’ in-flight Sunwing Elite service, which includes a ‘bon voyage’ glass of champagne, hot towel service, a choice of hot meal or hot snack, in-flight movies, wine with meals, kids’ backpacks with games and toys, comfortable leather seating throughout the aircraft and checked baggage (up to 44 pounds per person) at no extra charge.”

The new seasonal program is scheduled to operate through October.
