HeritageBank of the South Announces Management Promotions

Heritage Financial Group, Inc., the holding company for HeritageBank of the South, recently announced management promotions.

Sandy Driver was recently promoted to Senior Vice President.  Driver has been with HeritageBank of the South for 26 years and has served as Director of Human Resources since 1993.  She is a past president of the Albany Personnel Managers’ Association and served on its’ board of directors.  Driver and her husband, Stanley, have four children and four grandchildren, and are very active in their church, First Baptist of Albany. 

Joy Parrish was recently promoted to Group Vice President.  Parrish is currently Director of Deposit Operations.  She joined HeritageBank of the South in 2011. A veteran banker, she previously worked in Operations for First Union/Wachovia and Ameris Bank.  Parrish has been involved with the Relay for Life organization and is a member of Oteen Baptist Church.  She and her husband, Greg, have two daughters, Julie and Ashley.

April James, who currently serves as Regional Credit Officer, was recently promoted to Vice President.  James has been in the banking industry for 12 years and joined HeritageBank of the South in 2008.  She is currently attending Georgia Southwestern University, where she is completing her Bachelors in Accounting.  James is engaged to Ason Sparks and they have a son, Kellen. 

Bernie Catall was recently promoted to Group Vice President.  He currently serves as Director of Mortgage Operations.   Catall joined the HeritageBank of the South team in 2011.  A veteran lender, his duties include overseeing processing, underwriting and closing procedures in the Bank’s mortgage division.  Catall is a graduate of the University of Georgia.  He currently serves on the Executive Board for the Milton Band Boosters.  He has four children, Lara, Lacey, Mallory and Tony.
