AB&T To Move Operations Center Downtown
Press release from the issuing company
Wednesday, February 1st, 2012
AB&T National Bank recently announced that they are relocating their Operations Center to downtown Albany. Currently located at 2722 Dawson Road, the Operations Center will be moving from the west side of town to the bank’s Pine Avenue location.
“Because we own this building, there is a compelling business reason to take advantage of an asset that is currently underutilized,” stated Luke Flatt, President and CEO. He went on to say that, “in order to serve our downtown customers, we will continue to operate the drive-through windows at our 241 Pine Avenue location.”
The branch will continue as a full service branch until Friday, February 24, 2012. The following Monday, February 27, 2012, the branch will reopen as a drive-through only operation. Remodeling will begin shortly thereafter. Upon completion of the construction, the redeployment of that building will result in the relocation of approximately 10 full-time jobs into downtown Albany. “We feel that this strategic move will be a net gain for downtown Albany and will further strengthen the positive momentum that we see in this area,” said Luke Flatt.
AB&T National Bank opened its doors in 1999 as Albany Bank & Trust, focused on providing customers with local decision-making and exceptional quality service. It is a member of the FDIC and is an Equal Housing Lender. For more information, please visit our website, www.abtgold.com.
