Violations: Observed door to walk-in cooler propped open when arriving for inspection. Cooler door must remain shut at all times. 

November 16th

Wagner's Bar-B-Que (2406 Sylvester Rd) Score: 89 B

Violations: Observed hamburgers not stored covered in reach in freezer. Observed gasket on reach in cooler needs repairing. Observed faucet at 3-comp sink leaking. Observed vents in kitchen with dust build up. Observed live flies in kitchen.

November 21st

El Maya II (2800 Old Dawson Rd) Score: 82 A

Violations: Observed Potentially Hazardous Foods stored above 41F in the walk-in cooler. Door appeared to have been propped open at beginning of inspection. Observed Potentially Hazardous Foods in the cold hold unit holding above 41F. Observed the cheese sauce in the waitress area hot holding at 73F, it must be hot holding at 135F and above. Observed several foods stored uncovered in walk-in cooler including sauces, cooked chicken and beef in large tubs. All food must be covered. In fridge the raw beef should be stored above the raw chicken, currently it is the opposite. Observed several live pests at the handsink in the back of the facility.

November 22nd

Checkers (110 S Slappey) Score 100 A

Violations: None

Outback (823 N Westover Blvd) Score: 95 A

Violations: Observed two fridges did not contain thermometers (dessert, meat). All fridges must have thermometers and temperatures in fridges should be checked every day to ensure fridges are keeping foods below 41F. Observed that the utility sink out next to the dumpster is clogged with wastewater creating a large number of flies.

Sonny's (1900 N Slappey) Score: 92 A

Violations: No consistant date marking procedure (mac n cheese, pulled pork, tuna, chicken salad, ribs, bbq chicken, baked beans). Observed cutting board grooved/pitted and no longer cleanable. Observed wall in walk in cooler soiled. Observed missing/damaged floor tile. Observed floor/baseboard in need of cleaning beneath fryer and in dish area. 

November 23rd

Krystal (2601 Dawson Rd) Score: 98 A

Violations: Observed single-service salad bowls and lids being stored in the walk-in cooler below raw bacon. If storing in walk-in cooler, the items must be stored above raw items. Observed the utiliry sink next to grease bin and dumpster (on dumpster pad) is completely clogged with grease overflow from the grease bin. Grease must be cleaned and sink unclogged. 

November 29th

Ole Time Country Buffett (2101 Dawson Rd) Score: 99 A

Violations: Observed mold on walls in fry area and on ceiling in dishwashing area. 

The Catch (2332 Whispering Pines Rd) Score: 96 A

Violations: Observed several boxes of food (shrimp) on floor of freezer. All food must be kept on shelves, not on floor. Observed the sanitizer to the washing mashine not hooked up properly. Need to get sanitizer hooked up or make sure hot water levels reach 180F.
