Turner Job Corps to Honor Community Leaders at their 2nd Annual Leadership Legacy Luncheon

On Thursday September 22nd female student employees from Albany’s Turner Job Corp Center will spend a day with community leaders, role models, and mentors as they learn to optimize their skills, talents, potential, and growth opportunities. Guest speaker Superior Court Judge Denise Marshall will join 14 other women professionals and the best and brightest female students at TJCC for a day of “Pursuing Purpose and a Rededication to Dreams.” This year’s event will also include a presentation to the Legacy Lady of the Year who will be chosen from this year’s inductees.

TheLeadership Legacy Luncheonis designed as a “mentor moment” between 15 of the most influential business women, civic leaders, and government leaders in Southwest Georgia and our female students. 15 women from the Albany community have been chosen by the staff and students at TJCC for their personal accomplishments, civic mindedness, and for being representative of the embodiment of female professionalism in the workplace. This event has been specially designed to allow our community leaders to have the opportunity to encourage and mentor our young ladies and to leave a legacy with the young ladies.
