Most travelers give some consideration to earning frequent flyer miles when making travel purchase decisions, according to a survey conducted jointly by GO Airport Express, aChicago ground transportationcompany and The GO Group, an international franchise organization of ground transportation companies.
A total of 675 people participated in the survey, which asked how often earning frequent flyer miles factored into their decisions. Some 71% indicated "always," "frequently" or occasionally," while only 28% said "never."
"I think the survey tells us that people are seeking an added value when making airfare, hotel or other related purchases, as opposed to choosing on single factors such as price," saysJohn McCarthy, president,GO Airport Express.
