Purchasing Power LLC was named a “GeorgiaFAST 40” company for the second consecutive year for its continued revenue and employee growth. The voluntary benefits company ranked seventh on the list of large-middle market companies and was honored at an awards gala on June 30.
Purchasing Power allows employees of companies and organizations to purchase name-brand products with manageable monthly payments through a payroll deduction program. In 2010, Purchasing Power netted more than $140 million in revenue, representing nearly 31 percent growth over 2009. Additionally, the company doubled its workforce in the past three years and relocated to new headquarters in Midtown Atlanta to consolidate more than 125 employees to a single location.
“To be ranked among the top large-middle market companies for the second year in a row is an honor,” said Richard Carrano, president of Purchasing Power. “Our sustained growth proves that hard-working employees nationwide value Purchasing Power’s employee purchase program as a responsible way to buy products they need for themselves and their families.”
