Cbeyond, Inc., a leading provider of IT and communications services to small businesses, today announced it has been selected as a 2011 Georgia Fast 40 Company by the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. Each year, ACG Atlanta honors Georgia-based middle market companies that demonstrate the greatest growth in revenue and employees over the past three years.
"It is estimated that nearly 2,000 middle market companies are currently operating in the state of Georgia," said Greg Cinnamon, ACG Atlanta Fast 40 Chairman and Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton Partner. "Awards are presented to the top 40 middle market companies with revenues between $15 million and $500 million that have experienced the most substantial growth in revenue and employment."
Since Cbeyond's inception in 2000, it has experienced consistent revenue and employee growth year over year. In 2010, Cbeyond experienced a more than nine percent revenue growth and increased its headcount nine percent since 2009. Along with the consistent revenue and employee growth, Cbeyond expanded its market footprint into Boston in 2010. Furthermore, Cbeyond added cloud services to its product portfolio with the acquisition of two companies in November 2010.
"Despite the struggling economy, Cbeyond has been able to maintain steady, organic growth since its inception," said Jim Geiger, Cbeyond's Chief Executive Officer. "We are honored to be recognized as a Georgia Fast 40 Company again this year because it is a testament to the hard work of our employees."
