Auto Town Insurance today announced that it closed on the acquisition of the Trustway Insurance Agency locations in Georgia. The acquisition adds locations throughout the state and that were formerly operated by the seller, Trustway Insurance Agencies, LLC, a subsidiary of Assurance America Corporation. Under terms of the agreement, ATI will offer insurance under both the AutoTown and Trustway brand names, but other terms of the transaction were not disclosed. With the addition of these new locations, ATI has expanded its Georgia footprint making it the largest independent, non-standard insurance agency in the state.

Commenting on the transaction ATI President Dustin Walsey said: “This acquisition is a critical component in ATI’s continuing expansion plans. The addition of the Trustway Insurance locations has opened up new markets for ATI Customers so ATI can provide a better value. Our goal is to continue to grow ATI by offering more convenient locations so we can provide our customers the most affordable insurance solutions and create a great customer experience.”

ATI Chairman, Emanuel Fialkow added: “This acquisition is the beginning of our growth and expansion strategy. Over the next 18 to 24 months, we expect to continue to grow throughout the Southeast by acquiring more independent agencies and fulfill the needs of our customers.”
