Online Tech has experienced 39% growth in the first five months of 2011. In response, they have expanded their sales and support by hiring 6 new employees.
“The growth can be contributed to the mounting interest inprivate cloud hosting, managed cloud hostingand disaster recovery,” says Mike Klein, Online Tech President and COO.
In 2010, Online Tech released their private cloud hosting product line. The secure private cloud meets PCI, SOX, and HIPAA compliance requirements that can’t be met with public cloud hosting.
Klein reports that many companies need aPCI compliant cloud hostingsolution and are realizing that is more cost efficient to outsource their IT infrastructure than build their own PCI compliant data center.
Disaster recovery services are another growth area for Online Tech. “For the past two years, companies have had to put a hold on disaster recovery. Now with the economy improving, IT departments are once again able to invest in disaster recovery,” says Klein.
Online Tech offers a unique disaster recovery solution with their Michigan data centers situated 53 miles apart, directly connected with Gigabit fiber, and located on two separate power grids.
During the first five months of 2011, Online Tech hired 6 additional staff members to support the growing business. Staff has been added in data center operations to offer more support for second and third shifts as Online Tech continues to expand across the U.S. Additional sales staff has been added to keep up with high interest demand created with Online Tech’s introduction of private cloud and managed cloud hosting.
