Businesses were nominated earlier this year, and after a review by an independent panel of judges, The Flag Company, Inc. was selected as one of the Top 25 companies. Candidates were evaluated based on the criteria published by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Those criteria include staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales or unit volume, current and past financial standing, innovative products and services, response to adversity, evidence of contributions to aid community projects and overall management philosophy.

In addition to its flagpole business, The Flag Company, Inc. offers all kinds of flags and flag accessories to eighteen defined categories of business, including single use purchasers through its internet stores.
