Starbucks Could Come to Downtown Albany

New stores are popping up in Downtown Albany, and a new Starbucks could be next toin line forthe area.
A presentation was made by a representative from the Hilton Garden Innat Wednesday’s Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority (ADICA) meeting. The representative says the common area in the hotel downtown is largely underutilized, and they believe having a full Starbucks location inside would serve the area well.
“We have a lack of a coffee shop right now; we have establishments where you can go in and get coffee. But obviously anytime you can get the Starbucks brand it's something you have to look at. We'd be foolish not to look at it in at least great detail,” says Downtown Manager Aaron Blair.
