Deal Inks Tax Break for Tourist Industry

Gov. Nathan Deal signed legislation Wednesday that barely made it through the Georgia House of Representatives on the last day of this year’s General Assembly session.
The bill contains tax breaks aimed at boosting the state’s tourism industry.
It will offer developers interested in building new tourist attractions refunds on a portion of the sales taxes those new venues generate.
