A measurement of small business optimism dropped 2.6 points to 91.9 in March, dipping to recession-level readings, according to theNational Federation of Independent Business.
NFIB's monthly survey looks at small-business optimism at the national level, but what’s happening across the country generally holds true for Georgia, saidKyle Jackson, state director of NFIB/Georgia.
“It looks like everyone became more pessimistic in March, or maybe this is the ‘new normal,’ and we’re just not going to see a big jump in the numbers like we usually see at the start of a recovery,” he said.
