Georgia Leads for Women-Owned Businesses

Georgia’s Peaches are making waves in business more than women in any other state.

According to the American Express OPEN State of Women-Owned Business report published Thursday, Georgia has the most women-owned businesses in the United States. And those companies employ about 231,600 people while generating some $41.9 billion in revenue annually.
