Sunday Alcohol Sales Bill Earns Passage in Senate

A Sunday alcohol sales bill has been approved by the Senate.
The Georgia Senate on Wednesday delivered a crucial victory to those who have long sought the ability to buy alcohol in stores on Sundays.
By a 32-22 vote, the Senate passed Senate Bill 10, which would allow local communities to vote whether to allow retail stores to sell alcohol on Sunday.
