Georgia Manufacturing Healthier in February

Georgia’s manufacturers posted across-the-board good news – upticks in new orders, production, inventory, even employment – for the month of February, according to Kennesaw State’s Purchasing Managers Index released Tuesday.

The monthly gauge of manufacturing activity rose 8.7 points to 62.5. Anything above 50 illustrates an expanding manufacturing sector. January’s rate barely budged from the previous month.
