Georgia Gas Prices Rise, Bucking National Trend

While the national average for regular unleaded stayed the same from last week, Georgia's average gas price increased 5 cents to $3.06, according to AAA.

But AAA South spokeswoman Jessica Brady said drivers can expect to see those prices fall. Crude oil settled Friday at $85.58 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, a drop of $3.45 over the previous week, as investors grew less worried the Egyptian protests would spread and disrupt oil transports.
