Peanut Show Scheduled at Civic Center

The 35th annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show, sponsored by the Georgia Peanut Commission in cooperation with the University of Georgia, will be held Thursday at the Albany Civic Center.
“We are anticipating attendance similar to the last couple of years,” Commission Executive Director Don Kaylor said Monday. “Two things could affect attendance Thursday — really bad weather when nobody wants to get out and a really nice day where folks who are behind in their field work feel the need to be spending time in the field.
“But we’ve had a good year and I expect we will have good participation at the show.”
