Chambliss Pushing Debt-Reduction Package

A bipartisan group of U.S. senators spearheaded by Georgia Republican Saxby Chambliss expects to introduce a package of debt-reduction measures during the next several weeks, Chambliss said Friday.
The legislation would be based on recommendations released last month by a fiscal reform commission appointed by President Barack Obama, Chambliss told reporters at his Atlanta-area office in Smyrna.
