Search Begins for New City Manager

Albany city leaders are beginning the search for a new city manager. Current City Manager Al Lott plans to leave when his contract runs out next year.
Today, city commissioners heard from two consulting firms that want to help with the search.
This time next year, Al Lott will no longer be the city manager, so commissioners are already moving forward with the search process. "I understand Mr. Lott is going to resign in the summer so hopefully we will have a candidate before then," said Mayor Willie Adams.
