Partner up to Achieve Career Goals

Press release from the issuing company

As the sales training specialist for Premier Global, an Atlanta-based global meeting technology company, Pete Lubeski is always looking for better ways to help his managers coach their staffs to better performance.

He wasn’t expecting a breakthrough when he attended an InsideOut one-day coaching workshop, but that’s exactly what he found. “After watching the video of Alan Fine coaching someone on the tennis court, I told the presenter I could go home right now. I’d learned what I needed to know,” Lubeski said. “I haven’t experienced many of those ‘ah-ha’ moments in my life, but his coaching method reminded me of something I had forgotten.”

Having played sports all his life, Lubeski realized that better performance didn’t come from motivation. Everyone wants to play better. Nor does it necessarily come from more practice or knowledge. It comes through focus and removing the distractions (sometimes self-imposed) that get in the way. “The body knows what to do. We all have more knowledge than we know," he said. "We just have to bring it out.”
