Georgia 6th-Worst in November Foreclosures

The Peach State’s foreclosure woes continued into November, RealtyTrac data shows.
Georgia ranked sixth-worst in the nation with 14,423 foreclosures in November, or one for every 279 households, according to RealtyTrac. This marked a 49.2 percent increase over November 2009, but a 2.88 percent decrease over October 2010.
Foreclosures are defined as default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions.
