Gas Prices in Georgia Spike 11 Cents

Georgia’s gas prices gave skyrocketed 11 cents in the past week, pushed up by recent sour economic news.
According to AAA Auto Club South, the price per gallon of gas in the Peach State now averages $2.83, compared with $2.72 a week ago, $2.69 a month ago and $2.52 a year ago.
The national average price of unleaded regular gasoline is $2.93 per gallon, up 7 cents from last week.
