Georgia Tax Revenue Continues to Grow

Georgia’s tax revenue rose 8.2 percent in October, the fourth consecutive month the state generated revenue growth.

The Georgia Department of Revenue reported Thursday the state collected $1.23 billion in tax revenue last month. The figure includes $427.4 million in sales tax revenue (up 7.4 percent), a deficit of $5.4 million in corporate income tax revenue (down 10.5 percent)...
