Georgia Foreclosure Rates Still Among Highest

October found the Peach State in a familiar place in RealtyTrac’s rankings of foreclosures by state -- among the worst.
Georgia ranked seventh-worst in the nation with 14,850 foreclosures in October, or one for every 271 households. This marked a 19.1 percent increase over October 2009 and a 5.8 percent rise over September 2010.
