Career Fair Offers Employment Opportunities in Georgia

Despite southwest Georgia's double digit unemployment rate, employers are looking for skilled laborers at Albany Technical College.
More than 50 southwest Georgia employers participated in Albany Tech's 12th annual Career Fair Friday at the Kirkland Conference Center. The fair offered Albany tech students and the unemployed a chance to fill out applications and even interview on the spot with employers. Palmyra Nursing Home was looking for several workers, especially nurses.
