Strive2Thrive Volunteers Honored

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a reception Tuesday evening to honor and thank the more than 50 volunteers from Trumpet of God Ministries & Training Center for their work during the first Strive2Thrive process.
Charlene Glover, senior pastor for the Trumpet of God Ministries, said the reason the ministry got involved in the poverty-eradication process was a simple one.
"As a spiritual and faith-based organization, we felt it was our calling and our duty to demonstrate the love of Christ through action, and Strive2Thrive was the perfect opportunity to do that," Glover said.
