More than 1,000 Job Seekers Attend Career Expo

Today, more than a thousand job seekers showed up at the civic center for a job fair.
The Labor Department said today the unemployment rate remained unchanged in September at 10% so a job expo couldn't come at a better time.
The Georgia department of Labor has held numerous job fairs in our area in the past, but this is the first Career Expo that's been held in Albany.
