Keown Campaign Strategist Indicted in Alabama Voting Scandal

The chief strategist of Mike Keown's campaign has reportedly resigned after being indicted in Alabama in connection with a probe related to that state's largest casino.

Jay Walker, Keown's top strategist, resigned early Monday afternoon, according to the Associated Press.

Keown is the Republican nominee for the District 2 House seat currently held by Democratic incumbent Rep. Sanford Bishop Jr.
