Gas Prices Nearly 30 Cents Higher than Last Year

People paid approximately 30 cents less per gallon for gas than they are now this time last year.
Average retail gas prices in Georgia rose almost three cents per gallon this past week. The average price is $2.69 per gallon. The national average increased around two cents per gallon, making the national average $2.83 per gallon.
