For the third straight year, Georgia ranks No. 29 in a list ranking that states based on their percentage of millionaire households.

Some 4.31 percent of the Peach State’s households are millionaire households. This equates to 156,943 households in the state in 2010, compared with 143,957 in 2009.

The list, compiled each year by Phoenix Marketing International, bases its rankings on households with at least $1 million in investable, liquid assets and does not count sponsored retirement accounts or real estate values.
