Strive2Thrive Reaches Out to Rotarians

The Dougherty County Rotary Club received an update on the Strive2Thrive Initiative at a meeting on Tuesday at Doublegate Country Club.
Strive2Thrive volunteer Cynthia George was the meeting’s guest speaker. Strive2Thrive is an Albany-Area Chamber of Commerce initiative to help move people out of poverty. The program provides stipends as well as volunteers that offer one-on-one counseling. George says Strive2Thrive is a “hand up” and not a “hand out.”
