Community Capital Bancshares, AB&T National Bank Announce Changes to Board

W. David Campbell has been named Chairman and John P. “Jay” Ventulett, Jr. has been named Vice Chairman of the Board of the Board of Directors for Community Capital Bancshares, Inc. and its subsidiary AB&T National Bank.

Campbell has previously served on the board of directors for Albany First Federal Savings & Loan and Advisory Board for Bank of America. A native of Albany, he is past President and CEO of Medley Hotel & Restaurant Supply Co., as well as the Executive Vice-President of Strategic Equipment & Supply Co.
Jay Ventulett was founder and principal of Howard, Ventulett and Bishop Insurers, Inc., which later merged to become J. Smith Lanier & Co. of Albany. He is currently Vice President of J. Smith Lanier, is a founding board member of AB&T, and is a native of Albany.
Campbell will be replacing Charles M. “Chuck” Jones III as Chairman who will continue as a member of the board of directors. In recognition of his dedicated service, outstanding leadership and his role as founding Chairman, the AB&T boardroom has been named the “Charles M. Jones, III Boardroom.”
