Albany Tech’s Career Cruiser Goes on Library Tour in Southwest Georgia

Albany Tech’s Career Cruiser will go on the road beginning Wednesday, July 28, 2010, taking several stops at area libraries. The first stop on this Library Tour will be at Clay County Library in Fort Gaines on July 28th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The tour continues on Friday, July 30th at Randolph County Library in Cuthbert from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Saturday, July 31st at Calhoun County Library in Edison from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and the final tour will be at Terrell County Library in Dawson on August 19th from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Career Cruiser, which spans more than 30 feet in length, is designed for doorstep delivery of Albany Tech academic program information. Ten laptop computer workstations allow the recruitment team to provide admissions and testing services on-site to high schools and businesses in the Albany Tech service delivery area. Visitors can also take in a virtual campus tour on lab’s high-tech display screen.
