Wal-Mart in Camilla to close

Ground clearing is under way for the huge, new Wal-Mart superstore in East Albany.
That’s great news for Dougherty County, especially those residents on the east side of the Flint River. Not so good for Camilla and Mitchell County.
Since Wal-Mart announced it would locate in East Albany at Highway 300 and Clark Avenue, there has been speculation about the impact the store would have on other area Wal-Mart locations. (read more at albanyherald.com)
