Riverquarium may still get county $$$

There may still be a chance for the Flint Riverquarium to get some financial support from the county this year. The county commission is discussing taking some of the money that is currently allocated to Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful and giving it to the Riverquarium.
To do that, they'll enter into a partnership with the city to reduce the rate the city pays for dumping debris from demolished structures. The city will, in turn, pay some money to Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful for its service to the city. (read more at walb.com)
