Gas prices surge on tropical storm Alex

Georgia’s gasoline prices rose last week, as tropical storm Alex sent the price of crude oil higher, AAA Auto Club South reported.

Georgia’s average price per gallon is $2.63, compared with $2.59 a week ago, $2.65 a month ago and $2.51 a year ago. (read more at Atlanta Business Chronicle)
