Bank of America Corp. will purchase $10 billion in products and services over five years from small, midsized and historically disadvantaged businesses.

Charlotte, N.C.-based BofA (NYSE: BAC) said these businesses provide the bank services ranging from advertising to software.

“Bank of America has long been recognized for its world-class supplier diversity program, helping grow companies owned by minorities, women, disabled people, veterans and service-disabled veterans,” said BofA CEO Brian Moynihan. “We see an opportunity to expand on that mission by helping all small and medium-sized businesses create more jobs in this challenging economy.” (read more at Atlanta Business Chronicle)
