Synovus tagged as a prime acquisition target

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey bank analysts have tagged Synovus Financial Corp. as one of several prime acquisition candidates over the next few years.
The analysis comes out the same day Columbus, Ga.-based Synovus, confirmed it raised $1.1 billion in capital through recent public offerings. (read more at Atlanta Business Chronicle)
