MCLB, Chevron announce Gas-to-Energy groundbreaking

Groundbreaking for a MCLB Albany/Dougherty County landfill gas-to-energy project is scheduled at the Fleming/Gaissert Road Landfill at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20.
In Dec. 2009, Dougherty County and MCLB Albany entered into a 20-year partnership (with a five-year option to extend) which allows the county to sell landfill gas produced at the Fleming/Gaissert Road Landfill to MCLB Albany. (read more at walb.com)
